We publish accurate, fact-based journalism about Balochistan and the national and global affairs that shape the lives of its people — the stories that mainstream, capital-centred coverage too often overlooks. Balochistan is Pakistan's largest province by area and one of its least covered. From the fishing towns of the Makran coast to the orchards of Panjgur, the mineral belts of Chagai and the neighbourhoods of Quetta, decisions that change people's lives are made every day with little independent scrutiny. Balochistan Dispatch exists to close that gap: to document what is happening, explain why it matters, and give a platform to voices that rarely reach a national audience.

  • Transparency. We explain how we know what we report, and we label sponsored or partner content clearly so it is never confused with our journalism.

Balochistan Dispatch is independent. No political party, government body, business interest or donor directs or vetoes our coverage. To keep our journalism free to read, the site is funded through advertising — including ads served by third parties such as Google — and through the voluntary support of readers who value independent reporting. Advertising and reader support never influence what we choose to cover or how we cover it, and the presence of an advertisement is not an endorsement.
