Spain have booked their place in the FIFA World Cup 2026 final after a 2-0 win over France in the tournament's first semifinal, played Tuesday at the Dallas Stadium in Texas.

The victory extends Spain's dominant run through this tournament, following their earlier wins over Portugal and Belgium in the knockout rounds. France, who had eliminated Morocco to reach the final four, now face a battle for third place.

Attention now shifts to Atlanta, where England will take on Argentina in the second semifinal on Wednesday, July 15. Both sides arrive in strong form, England beat Norway 2-1 in the quarterfinals, while Argentina have looked sharp throughout, most recently defeating Switzerland 3-1.

The winner of that match will meet Spain in the World Cup final, scheduled for July 19
