Five children from the same family drowned while picnicking at Gaddani beach, a coastal area in Balochistan, according to local sources. Four of the children were rescued, while one remains missing.

The affected family belongs to Rind Market in Hub, and had traveled to Gaddani beach for a recreational outing, police said.

Upon receiving information about the incident, local lifeguards and speed boat crews carried out a swift rescue operation, safely pulling four children from the water. They were reported to be in a semi-conscious state and were provided immediate medical assistance; their condition is said to be improving.

A search operation is ongoing for the fifth child, 14-year-old Abubakar, son of Abdul Rashid. Rescue efforts are reportedly being hampered by strong waves. Local speed boat crews, lifeguards, and other rescue personnel remain engaged in the search.
