In the Jantri Kor Alandor area of Balida, unidentified armed men opened fire, killing one person on the spot.

According to sources, the deceased has been identified as Hairbiyar, son of Rafiq. No further details on the circumstances of the attack were available at the time of publication.

Police say two alleged robbers were killed in an encounter near Imdad Chowk in Quetta. The bodies of both were shifted to Civil Hospital by ambulance following the exchange of fire.

Police identified one of the deceased as 25-year-old Pir Bakhsh, son of Ilahi Bakhsh. The identity of the second alleged robber had not been established as of this report.
