Lieutenant General Rahat Naseem Ahmed Khan, Corps Commander Balochistan, visited Panjgur district on Thursday to inaugurate a series of development projects aimed at enhancing educational infrastructure and digital connectivity in the region.

During the visit, the Corps Commander officially opened the Jinnah IT Hub, a state-of-the-art facility equipped with fifty modern computers, a fully stocked digital library, and a dedicated solar power system ensuring round-the-clock electricity. The hub is expected to serve as a key resource for local youth, providing access to digital learning and modern technological tools.

In a separate ceremony, Lieutenant General Rahat Naseem Ahmed Khan also inaugurated the Sir Syed Ahmed Khan Lounge and the Allama Iqbal Auditorium at the University of Makran. The new facilities are designed to support academic discourse and cultural activities, benefiting both students and faculty.

Speaking on the occasion, the Corps Commander reiterated the Pakistan Army's commitment to the socio-economic uplift of Balochistan, emphasizing that sustainable development remains a top priority.

Local elders and residents of Panjgur paid rich tribute to the Pakistan Army for the new initiatives, welcoming the welfare projects and expressing hope for continued collaboration in the region's development.
