The Baloch Students Organization (BSO) says its central chairman, Jiand Baloch, was taken into custody by State forces from his home in the Hudda area of Quetta and moved to an unknown location.

In a statement, the organization's central spokesperson said Jiand Baloch is the leader of a student political organization that believes in the democratic political process. The spokesperson said he has allegedly been forcibly disappeared on two previous occasions.

BSO demanded that Jiand Baloch be immediately produced and released unconditionally.
