QUETTA — The Directorate of Provincial Institute for Teacher Education (PITE) Balochistan has officially announced the commencement of admissions for the Associate Degree in Education (ADE) pre-service training program for the academic session 2026–2028.

The two-year professional degree program, approved by the Higher Education Commission (HEC), is aimed at eligible female and male candidates holding local or domicile certificates from the respective districts of Balochistan.

  • Last Date for Submission of Applications: August 30, 2026
  • Entry Test Date: September 5, 2026
  • Announcement of Final Merit List: September 10, 2026
  • Commencement of Classes: September 15, 2026

Eligibility Criteria

  • Age Limit: 18 to 28 years
  • Academic Qualification: Intermediate (FA/FSc or equivalent second division)
  • Merit Calculation:
  • Matriculation: 25% weightage (based on obtained marks out of total marks)
  • Intermediate: 30% weightage (based on obtained marks out of total marks)
  • Entry Test: 40% weightage
  • PTC/CT (if applicable): 5 percentage points

Participating Elementary Colleges

Admissions are open across various Government Colleges of Elementary Education (GCEE) throughout the province, categorized by district jurisdiction for male and female campuses:

  • Quetta (Satellite Town): Female candidates from all districts of Balochistan.
  • Quetta (Arbab Karam Khan Road): Male candidates from Quetta West, Killa Abdullah, Chaman, Nushki, Pishin, Mastung, Kalat, Kharan, Washuk, and all districts of Sibi division.
  • Regional Campuses: Facilities across Loralai, Musa Khel, Duki, Ziarat, Killa Saifullah, Zhob, Sherani, Pishin, Surab, Khuzdar, Awaran, Hub, Lasbela, Jafarabad, Nasirabad, Sohbatpur, Jhal Magsi, Kachhi, Dera Bugti, Panjgur, Gwadar, and Kech are designated to handle applications for their respective local jurisdictions.

Required Documentation

Applicants must submit attested copies of their Matric and Intermediate (or equivalent) passing certificates and mark sheets, FA/FSc/Intermediate Part-I or II mark sheets, local or domicile certificate, computerised national identity card (CNIC) or B-Form, four passport-sized colored photographs, character certificate, and provisional certificate. Prospectuses and application forms can be obtained directly from the respective Elementary Colleges.
