Armed Men Attack Nawabzada Zafar Magasi's Crush Plant in Jhal Magsi, Abduct Local Contractor with Four Workers and Vehicle

Unidentified armed assailants attacked the crush plant of Nawabzada Mir Zafar Ali Magasi in the "Nafoor" area of Jhal Magsi district on Monday, abducting a local contractor, his four associates, and their vehicle, police said.

According to officials, dozens of gunmen stormed the facility and took the contractor and his workers hostage before fleeing to an unknown location.

Upon receiving the alert, heavy police contingents and hundreds of armed tribesmen from the Magasi tribe launched a pursuit operation. All entry and exit points of the district have been sealed, and a search operation is underway to recover the abductees.

No group has claimed responsibility so far. Investigations are ongoing.
