ISLAMABAD :President Bugti Youth Organisation Abdul Ghaffar Bugti participated in the ongoing protest of 121 medical students from FATA and Balochistan, who have been staging a sit-in outside the Higher Education Commission (HEC) office.

Speaking on the occasion, Bugti urged the government, Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC), Khyber Medical University (KMU), and HEC to stop further injustice against the students. He said that despite the completion of the nomination process, political interference and unjustified delays have put the valuable academic year of hundreds of students at stake, which is unacceptable.

Abdul Ghaffar Bugti called on PMDC to immediately complete the approval process so that nomination letters can be issued to the students and their academic careers can be saved. He made it clear that BYO stands shoulder to shoulder with the students until the realization of this constitutional and fundamental right, and that the government must find an immediate solution to this serious issue.
