Balochistan government spokesperson and PPP leader Shahid Rind has praised security forces for what he described as successful operations against militant groups in the province.

In a statement, Rind said security forces have made continuous sacrifices in maintaining law and order and that operations against militants are ongoing. "Terrorist elements are trying to hinder Balochistan's journey toward peace, development, and prosperity, but state institutions and the people together are foiling their nefarious designs," he said.

Rind said recent operations demonstrate that security agencies are acting at full capacity against groups he described as anti-state elements, and characterized the people of Balochistan as opposed to unrest and violence.

He also said the sacrifices of security personnel killed in counter-militancy operations would be remembered, and that the government would continue pursuing peace and stability measures. He linked the province's development prospects to improved security, saying the government's focus includes development projects, employment generation, and public welfare programs.
