QUETTA :Balochistan Interior Minister Mir Ziaullah Langau has sharply criticized Pashtunkhwa Milli Awami Party (PKMAP) chief Mahmood Khan Achakzai, accusing him of spreading misinformation and avoiding naming militant groups out of fear.

In a response to Achakzai's recent statement, Langau asserted that "not naming terrorists is synonymous with fear." He pointed out that a militant organization has already claimed responsibility for the Saranan attack, and that Achakzai's reluctance to identify them reflects "fear in the hearts of our leaders."

The minister accused some leaders of taking "shortcuts" by placing all responsibility on the government while hiding from the public the "real facts" about terrorism. "A true leader should lead the people in the field and convey the truth to them," Langau said.
