ISLAMABAD – PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari held a meeting with opposition leaders in the National Assembly’s opposition chamber, including NA Opposition Leader Mahmood Khan Achakzai and Senate Opposition Leader Raja Naseer Abbas, to discuss parliamentary affairs and national politics.

Senior PTI and TTP leaders, including Salman Akram Raja, Asad Qaiser, and Mustafa Nawaz Khokhar, attended alongside PPP’s Raja Pervaiz Ashraf, Sherry Rehman, and others. Bilawal urged opposition leaders to join parliamentary committees and play an active role; they responded they would consult with PTI Chairman Imran Khan before deciding.

Both sides agreed to enhance coordination on legislation. Bilawal also stressed the need for electoral reforms to ensure transparency in future polls.

Separately, Bilawal welcomed Imran Khan’s hospital transfer and medical treatment following a Supreme Court ruling, calling it a "democratic tradition."
