QUETTA: Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti has extended heartfelt Independence Day greetings to the Pakistani nation and the people of Balochistan, saying the country’s freedom was achieved through the sacrifices of its forefathers.

In his message on Independence Day, the chief minister said the sacrifices made by the people who struggled for independence had made the dream of a free homeland a reality.

He said that under the leadership of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, the dream of an independent state was transformed into reality.

“Freedom is the result of great sacrifices,” Bugti said, paying tribute to those who gave their lives for the creation and protection of the country.

The chief minister said Independence Day was being celebrated across Balochistan with national enthusiasm and patriotic spirit.

He added that every child in Balochistan viewed the sacrifices of the country’s martyrs with great respect and honour.

Bugti also expressed solidarity with the families of the martyrs, assuring them that the nation would never forget the sacrifices made by their loved ones.

He said the sacrifices of the martyrs would continue to be remembered with respect and gratitude as the country marked its Independence Day.
