CM Bugti Hosts Grand Iftar-Dinner in Islamabad; Political, Tribal Leaders Pledge Unity for Balochistan’s Development

ISLAMABAD / BALOCHISTAN DISPATCH – In a significant display of political cohesion and tribal diplomacy, Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti hosted a grand dinner reception at the Serena Hotel’s Shish Mahal in Islamabad on August 17, 2026, in honor of provincial and federal lawmakers.
The event was attended by a cross-section of Balochistan’s political leadership, including members of the Balochistan Assembly, federal parliamentary secretaries, and key tribal chieftains. Among the prominent attendees were Federal Parliamentary Secretary for the Board of Investment Akhtar Bibi, Provincial Parliamentary Secretary Rababa Buladi, Sardar Noor Ahmed Bangulzai, MNA Phoolen Baloch, MPA Farah Azim Shah, and Provincial Advisor for Sports Meena Majeed Baloch.
During the reception, the participants engaged in cordial discussions on the province’s political landscape, welfare initiatives, and public development projects. The atmosphere remained congenial, reflecting a shared commitment to addressing the challenges facing Balochistan.
A notable highlight of the evening was the meeting between Chief Minister Bugti and Mufti Abdul Shakoor Al-Muzafar, who personally thanked the CM for the invitation and lauded his efforts to foster inter-provincial harmony.
In a separate but significant interaction, tribal elder Sardar Abdul Waheed Khan Solangi, head of the Solangi tribe, held a detailed dialogue with Federal Minister Nawabzada Khalid Khan Magsi. The two leaders exchanged views on mutual respect, regional stability, and key matters concerning Balochistan’s socio-economic uplift. The meeting was marked by warmth and a spirit of tolerance, underscoring the importance of tribal unity in the province’s progress.
