The situation, documented in photographic evidence, has sparked alarm among heritage experts warning of an impending cultural catastrophe.

The photographs, taken by residents on-site, reveal a chaotic scene of amateur excavation. A hand-modeled terracotta figurine, featuring distinctive large eyes and style indicative of a prehistoric or early historic civilization, is seen clutched in a digger's hand. Another image shows a collection of ancient earthen pots—some broken, some intact—scattered across the dug-up land.
