TURBAT, BALOCHISTAN: An improvised explosive device (IED) reportedly targeted vehicles carrying Pakistani security personnel near Shaheed Fida Chowk in Turbat city, Kech district, on friday.

Police confirmed that an explosion occurred in the area, describing it as a motorcycle-borne IED attack. No casualties among security personnel have been reported so far.

Several passers-by reportedly sustained minor injuries in the blast, while a number of nearby shops were also damaged.

Following the explosion, security forces cordoned off the area and launched an investigation into the incident. Authorities are examining the scene and gathering further information about the circumstances surrounding the attack.

No group has so far claimed responsibility for the blast.
