NUSHKI: A protest rally was held in Nushki on Sunday against the failure to arrest the killers of young cricketer Jalil Ahmed Badini, who was murdered during a motorcycle robbery.

The rally, attended by citizens, athletes, and members of various political and social circles, marched through different city thoroughfares and concluded at the Nushki Press Club. Protesters raised strong slogans, demanding the immediate arrest of Badini's killers as well as other suspects involved in motorcycle theft and robbery incidents. Participants held placards and photographs of the slain cricketer.

Addressing the rally, notable speakers included BNP Central Executive Committee member Mir Khurshid Jamaldini, Ataullah Mengal, National Party's Byberg Baloch, District Football Association President Shakil Ahmed Jamaldini, Hafiz Elyas, and Malik Yasin.

Speakers stated that citizens in Nushki feel insecure, noting a concerning rise in snatching incidents of motorcycles, vehicles, mobile phones, and other valuables. They urged authorities to take immediate action to curb the rising lawlessness in the district.
