QUETTA :Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has reiterated the government's commitment to peace, development, and prosperity across Pakistan—with a particular focus on Balochistan—while emphasizing that progress cannot be achieved without collective responsibility for security.

Speaking during a Q&A session at the Balochistan National Workshop, the Prime Minister said: "Our desire and goal is the promotion of peace, development, and prosperity in every corner of Pakistan, especially Balochistan."

He pledged that resources would be provided to the fullest extent possible for Balochistan's development and prosperity. However, he stressed that this progress requires shared responsibility for the security of these resources. "Without security, the journey of development cannot move forward," he stated.

The Prime Minister's remarks underscore the government's approach of linking development initiatives with improved law and order in the province, where ongoing security challenges have hindered progress.
