Taftan-Nowkundi, August 15, 2026 – Unidentified armed men torched three vehicles on the N-40 Quetta-Taftan highway last night, including a trailer, a 10-wheeler truck, and a fuel tanker.

According to transport sources, the attackers stopped the vehicles near the Taftan-Nowkundi stretch, set them ablaze, and fled. No casualties were reported.

Security forces have launched a search operation. No group has claimed responsibility yet.

Traders have demanded action and compensation, warning of possible protests.
