The Central Police Office (CPO) Balochistan has issued a notification ordering the transfer and posting of several senior police officers, with the changes coming into effect immediately, according to the notification dated July 18, 2026.



According to the notification, Abdul Rauf Babar (PSP/BS-18), who was awaiting posting at CPO Quetta, has been appointed SP South Dera Bugti. Asif Khan (PSP/BS-18) has been transferred from the post of SSP Operations, Quetta, and appointed AIGP Operations at CPO Quetta, against an existing vacancy.

Zia ul Haq Mandokhail (PSP/BS-18), who was serving as SP South Dera Bugti, has been posted as SSP Operations, Quetta.

Sources further indicate that Abdul Salam Kakar (DSP/BS-17), who was serving as SP Kharan, has been directed to report to CPO Quetta, while Sadoro Lashari (DSP/BS-17) has been transferred from SDPO Dera Allah Yar and posted as SP Kharan, in his own pay and scale.

According to the notification, all transfers take effect immediately and until further orders, and the officers concerned have been directed to assume their new responsibilities. The notification was issued by Hasan Asad Alvi, PSP, DIGP Headquarters, for the Inspector General of Police, Balochistan, with copies marked to the Establishment Division, the Home Department, the Accountant General of Balochistan, and other relevant offices.

The administrative changes are being described as an effort to further streamline operational and administrative matters within the Balochistan Police.
