The Baloch Women Forum (BWF) has condemned the alleged enforced disappearance of Rizwana, a 16-year-old first-year student from Mastung, calling it part of a growing pattern of forced disappearances targeting Baloch women.

In a statement, BWF said Rizwana's case adds to a list of Baloch women it says have been forcibly disappeared, including Khadija Baloch, Mahjabeen Baloch, Nasreena Baloch, and Habiba Baloch. The group said the rising number of such cases shows that enforced disappearance has become "a deliberate instrument of fear, intimidation and collective punishment" against the Baloch community, and described the alleged targeting of women and minors as "a dangerous escalation" that violates basic principles of human dignity and justice.

BWF characterized the continued alleged abduction of Baloch women as a tactic intended to terrorize communities, silence political voices, and weaken the Baloch social fabric, saying that when women are targeted, the intent extends beyond the individual to spread fear across entire families and communities.

The group demanded the immediate release of Rizwana, Khadija Baloch, Mahjabeen Baloch, Nasreena Baloch, Habiba Baloch, and all Baloch women it says have been forcibly disappeared. BWF also called on the international community and global human rights mechanisms to take urgent action, conduct independent investigations, and hold those responsible accountable, saying the normalization of enforced disappearances of Baloch women "must end before more lives are destroyed by impunity."
