QUETTA: Police in Quetta have arrested two suspects wanted in connection with multiple murder cases, recovering weapons and ammunition during a series of raids across the city, officials said.

According to police, the Quetta Serious Crime Investigation Team, in coordination with the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) South Zone, arrested Muhammad Ikram and Abdul Razaq during an operation in the Hazara Ganji area.

Police said dozens of rounds of ammunition were recovered from the suspects. Officials added that additional weapons and ammunition were recovered based on information obtained during the suspects' interrogation.

The suspects are wanted in connection with multiple murder investigations, police said, adding that further questioning is under way. A related case is also being investigated by the Quetta Crime Branch.

Officials said the operation was conducted under the supervision of the Quetta Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) as part of the city's ongoing Serious Crime Investigation campaign.
