One person was killed and four others wounded in an explosion on Patel Road near yaseen Hospital in Quetta on Sunday late night, police said several incidents reported across Balochistan during day time .

The blast struck Patel Road, and the wounded were moved to hospital, according to police. The nature of the explosion was still being determined at the time of writing, and no group had claimed responsibility.

In Dhadar, in Kachhi district, a time bomb planted at the gate of the local Irrigation Department office went off, partially damaging the gate, police said. Police and security forces cordoned off the area and collected evidence from the scene, according to the SHO of Dhadar, who said an investigation had been opened.

Separately, two bodies were recovered from the Mashkay area of Awaran district, according to police. One of the dead was identified as Imran, son of Muhammad Gul, a resident of Khuzdar; the second had not been identified. Police said they had taken the bodies into custody and begun the legal formalities, and that an investigation was under way to establish the circumstances and cause of death.
