QUETTA, August 10, 2026 – The Balochistan Public Service Commission (BPSC) has cancelled the candidature of an applicant for the post of Assistant Professor (B-18) in Zoology for submitting a fake experience certificate, according to an official press release issued today.
The candidate, identified as Sami Afaq, daughter of Afaq Ahmed (Roll No. 7712), bearing CNIC No. 54401-7344424-8, with domicile of Quetta City, had applied for the post in the Women's Section under the Colleges, Higher and Technical Education Department.
Six-Month Debarment Imposed.
In addition to the cancellation of her candidature, the Commission has debarred the candidate from applying for any post advertised by the BPSC for a period of six (06) months.
The decision was announced through Press Release No. PSC(RB)/2026/71, which serves as a follow-up to the Commission's earlier press releases No. PSC(RB)/2026/51 dated June 30, 2026, and No. PSC(RB)/2026/65 dated July 31, 2026.
The BPSC, operating from its Samungli Road office in Quetta, has consistently maintained a strict policy against fraudulent practices in the recruitment process, as emphasized by its "SAY NO TO CORRUPTION" campaign.
