The People's Primary Healthcare Initiative (PPHI) Balochistan has invited applications from eligible women across all 38 districts of the province for its Midwifery Induction, Training and Employment Program 2026, offering two years of fully funded Community Midwifery (CMW) training followed by guaranteed employment at Basic Health Units (BHUs).
Under the program, selected candidates will undergo two years of training at the Community Midwifery School at Khui Goth, Karachi, with classes starting from September 2026. PPHI Balochistan will bear all expenses, including course and training fees, Nursing Board registration and examination fees, academic support services, stationery, uniform, food and accommodation, transportation for clinical postings, and travel between Karachi and home up to three times per year. Each selected candidate will also receive a monthly stipend of Rs 10,000.

On successful completion of the training, candidates will be appointed at the BHU for which they were selected, where they must mandatorily serve for at least three years. Selection will be made on merit through interviews at the respective district offices of PPHI Balochistan, and interviews will be conducted immediately after the closing date.
The program targets matric-pass women residing near BHU catchment populations listed in the advertisement, which covers selected BHUs in all 38 districts, from Awaran, Barkhan and Chagai to Gwadar, Kech, Khuzdar, Lasbela, Panjgur, Pishin, Zhob and Ziarat.
According to the terms and conditions, applicants must be female, must have passed Matriculation (preferably with science) from a recognized board with at least 40% marks, must be between 18 and 40 years of age, and must be permanent residents of the respective district or area. Selected candidates will be required to execute a surety bond as per PPHI Balochistan policy, and anyone leaving the course uncompleted or leaving PPHI Balochistan before the mandatory three years of service will have to reimburse all expenses incurred on her, without exception.
Required documents include the Matric pass certificate and mark sheet, domicile or PRC, a copy of the CNIC, and four passport-size photographs.
