Jameel Ahmed, son of Haji Khuda Rahim, was injured in an explosion on Old Gazi Road in Kharan. According to details, Jameel Ahmed, who transports firewood into the city on a donkey cart as part of his daily routine, was returning after making a delivery when a bomb planted on the road detonated beneath his cart. The blast severed two of the donkey's legs and one of Jameel Ahmed's hands. No further casualties were reported.
