QUETTA, August 10, 2026, Chief Minister Balochistan Mir Sarfraz Bugti has reaffirmed his government's commitment to carrying forward effective measures for the province's development and public prosperity, in collaboration with all political and democratic forces.

The statement came during a series of separate meetings held on Monday at the CM's office, where he received provincial ministers, members of the Provincial Assembly, leaders of various political parties, and other prominent figures.

Among those who called on the Chief Minister were Provincial Ministers Mir Zia Loungo, Mir Asim Kurd Gillo, and Nawabzada Mir Tariq Magsi; Leader of the Opposition Mir Younis Aziz Zehri; Members of Provincial Assembly Mir Zabid Reki, Rehmat Saleh Baloch, and Dr. Muhammad Nawaz Kabzai; Parliamentary Secretaries Mir Abdul Samad Gorgage and Asghar Tarin; Pakistan Peoples Party Balochistan Provincial President Sardar Umer Gorgage; Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Balochistan Provincial Ameer Maulana Abdul Wasay; Honorary Consul of Germany Mir Murad Baloch; and former District Nazim Sibi Mir Hair Byar Khan Domki.

During the meetings, the participants discussed the overall political and administrative situation of the province, public issues, development affairs, and various important matters. The ongoing development projects, public welfare initiatives, law and order, and other issues of mutual interest were also reviewed.

Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti emphasized that the development of Balochistan, resolution of public problems, and establishment of sustainable peace remain among the top priorities of his government.

"The government will continue effective measures for the province's development and public prosperity by taking all political and democratic forces on board," he stated.

The meetings also saw consensus on fostering mutual cooperation and coordination to improve the province's condition, resolve public issues, and further strengthen the development process.
