KHARAN: Armed men reportedly established a checkpoint on the main road connecting Kharan and Panjgur late Friday night, stopping vehicles and checking passengers, according to local sources.
The blockade was reported on the Kharan-Panjgur highway, though no official statement has yet been issued by law enforcement authorities regarding the incident. The duration of the checkpoint and the identity of the armed individuals remain unknown.
In a separate development, the bodies of three unidentified individuals were recovered from the Sarawan area of Union Council Sarawan in Kharan district, local officials said.
Authorities shifted the bodies to a nearby hospital for legal formalities, including post-mortem examination and identification. Officials have not yet disclosed the identities of the deceased or the circumstances surrounding their deaths.
