Chief Minister Balochistan Mir Sarfraz Bugti has congratulated 500 women who completed the first phase of the Balochistan Women Entrepreneurship Development Program, expressing satisfaction over its successful completion.
In a statement posted on social media platform X, CM Bugti said economic empowerment of women is among the top priorities of the Balochistan government, adding that practical measures are being taken to equip women with modern business skills, digital technology, and self-employment opportunities.
He described the program as a significant milestone toward women's economic development in the province, noting that women from various districts received comprehensive training in modern business skills, marketing, business planning, and the use of digital tools. He said the training would help women become self-reliant and enable them to play an effective role in the provincial and national economy.
The Chief Minister said the government has full confidence in women's capabilities and would continue providing a supportive environment and better opportunities for them going forward. He added that the government intends to expand the scope of such programs so that a greater number of women can benefit.
CM Bugti praised Advisor to the Women Development Department Dr. Rababa Khan Buledi, the Women Development Department, and all institutions and teams involved in organizing the program, calling their efforts commendable. He expressed hope that such initiatives would play an important role in promoting women's economic independence, business development, and sustainable prosperity in Balochistan.
